A wonderful video of Carl Sagan’s poignant reflections on the image Pale Blue Dot - a photograph of planet Earth taken in 1990 by the Voyager 1 space craft from a record distance of about 6 billion kilometres from Earth. The video features images of historical moments from human history and moving vignettes from everyday life, accompanied by a sublime tune from Sigur Ros. Beautiful.
